With more than 12 years of experience at both public and private institutions---at the community college, four-year and graduate levels--- Penny brings diverse knowledge in recruitment, enrollment, advising, marketing, retention and student success. As an Associate Consultant, she is responsible for preparing written documents for searches and assisting the lead consultants during committee meetings and neutral site interviews, as well as with research functions. Penny earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Stetson University and a master’s degree in psychology from Radford University.
The University of Alaska System has appointed James R. Johnsen as President. Dr. Johnsen currently serves as Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Process Transformation at Alaska Communications. His effective date is September 1, 2015.
