With more than 12 years of experience at both public and private institutions---at the community college, four-year and graduate levels--- Penny brings diverse knowledge in recruitment, enrollment, advising, marketing, retention and student success. As an Associate Consultant, she is responsible for preparing written documents for searches and assisting the lead consultants during committee meetings and neutral site interviews, as well as with research functions. Penny earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Stetson University and a master’s degree in psychology from Radford University.
The University of South Alabama has appointed Dr. Andrea Kent as Dean of the College of Education. Dr. Kent had served as Interim Dean this fall term and was Associate Dean of the College prior to being appointed Interim. She is the first female Dean of this College.
